About Me

Frank Friedl is an appointed Teacher for the AV Reach ministry of the Antelope Valley Church in Lancaster, California. He received his Master of Religious Education in Missional Leadership from Rochester University in 2019. Prior to that he was working towards certification in Biblical Studies from the Athens Institute of Ministry. Frank started blogging in 2006 at theoppositepc.blogspot.com (which now redirects here) and since then has been privileged to be part of The High Calling network of bloggers and was one of the original content-contributors to the now defunct online community Faithvillage.com. For 20 years, Frank has been active in community ministry through HOPEworldwide and he currently helps run an ‘Impact House’ faith-based after school program, partnering with the Neighborhood Impact ministry of Grace Chapel in Lancaster. He also co-leads an addiction recovery ministry, celebrating 17 years sober.
